KNOW Wellness Center was founded in May of 2020 by founding member and CEO Maila Pagán-White. Maila was born into a family that practiced the use of folk-style natural methods. Her early career went the route of Early Childhood Educator and Business Operations Specialists, even owning and operating her own successful business in that field for 16 years. Throughout that time her own practice of and interest in natural and holistic health persisted, which lead her to explore other methodologies beyond the remedies and traditions she had already learned. When the mass furloughs and layoffs occurred during the pandemic, it was quite clear to her that the need for support and education for the masses in personal, hands on wellness was essential. After years of on-going self-study, practice, and acquiring several specialized certifications in various areas of health and wellness she decided to found KNOW Wellness Center as a source for anyone with the need or interest to find information, support, education, and assistance with taking charge of their own wellness.
